Lock “Cobra”

Lock “Cobra” is the lock of XXI century. Basic principle of operation is timer electronic-code system, which is used in modern locks.

The electronic key provides more than 1 000 000 000 code combinations and mechanical lock secrecy can be from 10 000 up to billion combinations, depends on the type of used cylinder insert. If two incorrect code combinations are inputted, the audio alarms will be switched on for 30 seconds and the lock will be blocked for 12 minutes.

The internal handle is not blocked and works independently. This is very important from the point of view of fire safety.

Lock "Cobra" is new solution of lock problem. Patented in Ukraine and abroad. It consists of:

• Timer electronic-mechanical code system, which locks a door and reliably protects user from undesirable visitors; this systems allows using «Cobra» like a group lock with multiple access.
• Reliable mechanical mortise lock; door, which blocked by the code system, can be opened by mechanical key.

Performance attributes:

• The amount of numbers in the access code is from 2 to 9;
• Number of code combinations is 1109;
• Mechanical lock secrecy is up to 20000;
• Duration of lock continuous running without battery replacement is no less than 10 months;
• Duration of unblocking period of external handle after access code input is 2-3 sec.;
• Access code is saved after battery replacement;
• Multiple reprogramming of access code during service life is provided;
• Permanent blocking of external handle in the guard mode is provided;
• If two incorrect code combinations are inputted, the audio alarms will be switched on for 30 seconds and the lock will be blocked for 12 minutes;
• Internal handle is not blocked and works independently;
• Lock feed is provided by dc source with 6V voltage rating using 4 batteries with 1,5V voltage rating.
